Castelnor Hotel & Spa

The location is out of this world. The most beautiful place I have visited by now. The food is excellent and the waiters are extremely polite. All the staff is great. The spa zone is spotless clean and elegant and has many facilities. But most of all, I appreciated the therapists. Two extremely dedicated young people with magic hands: Paula and Cătălin. I look forward to get there again as soon as possible.

The room and the food were ok, but I came for the SPA. This is my second time here and it does not compare to the first time. The water in the swiming pool is cold ,the water in the jacuzzi is also cold, I could only enjoy the sauna, where also the cap on the shower in the wet sauna is broken. Almost everybody complained about the cold water, wich you would not expect at a 4 star. Although we notify the reception the situation did not change. Hopefully someone will take some action.

The only good thing about this place is the actual location. The rooms are gloomy and not clean. The waiters are not nice, you’d think they are there to give you money, not vice versa. Food is not good. The staff are TOO loud when they do their “cleaning”, it is impossible to have any quiet he during the day to rest in the room. Bottom line: Not worth the price. Overpriced for the services it offers (wouldn’t even pat half of the price for these services).

Hotel Castelnor exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the lobby, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff who ensured my check-in process was seamless. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a cozy sanctuary to unwind after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. Every detail had been carefully considered to create a tranquil and comfortable environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's amazing spa. Situated amidst the serene mountainous landscape, the spa offered a range of luxurious facilities that left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed, like indoor and outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, wet and dry sauna and more other. The spa's tranquil ambiance truly added to the overall experience, allowing me to unwind and escape from the stresses of everyday life. The dining options at the hotel were equally impressive. The restaurant served a variety of delectable dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. The menu showcased both local and international cuisine, providing a culinary experience that satisfied even the most discerning palate. Additionally, the attentive and friendly staff made dining an absolute pleasure, ensuring my needs were met and providing excellent recommendations. The hotel's location on Paltinis Mountain was truly idyllic. Overall, my stay at this 4-star hotel on Paltinis Mountain with its incredible spa was a truly unforgettable experience. The combination of impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning natural surroundings created a haven of relaxation and indulgence. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a perfect blend of mountain adventure and pampering retreat.

Great location and surroundings. Expensive for the services you get, though. The food is too expensive for the quality provided. That's disappointing. The room was very small and too warm. It was impossible to control the temperature. The so called spa - is more like a kids pool, with all the children loudly taking over the facilities.
